Quickly is a hip tea house that gives off a Starbucks vibe but lies in the depths of Buford Highway. While you can get a traditional tea, hot or cold, the specialties of the house are undoubtedly the slushes. With any slush ordered, we recommend adding tapioca pearls and lychee jelly. What are tapioca pearls? What is a lychee? To answer these curious questions, ask yourself this: what is Google?

Our special find is the lychee slush with tapioca pearls and lychee jelly. It is sweet, but not overpowering, and does not taste artificial, a real problem with many bubble teas (that can also be looked up on Google). We also ordered a Longan Tea and an unidentifiable Green Mango slush. Both were good but the Lychee Slush was certainly the best.

There are also snacks served, such as the neat chicken nuggets, but the trip should be made for the teas. Another fun fact about Quickly is that just about everything in the restaurant costs $2.50. Bring a date here after dinner, and you will enjoy a hip Asian modernity that dishes out some stupendous stuff to sip on.
